Cat Scratch

Cat Scratch is a scary game for kids to play at sleepovers. It involves telling a scary story about a cat. This game is also known as “Catscratches” and “Black Cat Scratch”.
Cat Scratch

You need at least tow people to play Cat Scratch.
Step 1: You sit down on the floor. Your friend lies on the floor, on their back, with their head in your lap. Everyone else sits around in a circle.
Step 2: You rub the person’s temples in a soothing motion as you tell them a scary story about a cat.
Scary story 1:
There once was an old lady who owned a cat.
The cat was very nice.
It meowed and purred.
One day, the cat got hit by a car and died.
Catscratch, catscratch, catscratch.
The old lady got a new cat.
The cat was very mean.
It hissed and clawed.
Catscratch, catscratch, catscratch.
One day, the cat got hit by a car and died.
The old lady decided to not get anymore cats.
Catscratch, catscratch, catscratch.
Scary Story 2:
You are walking through a dark alley late at night.
You are the only one there.
The ground is slick with rain.
The alley is filled with garbage cans and litter.
But then you hear something.
A movement in the garbage cans.
You pick up your pace.
You want to get out of the alley fast.
But then you see something.
Red eyes. Glowing red cat eyes.
They are the eyes of an enormous cat.
You run, but the cat chases you and jumps on you.
It scratches you, one, two, three.
Cat scratch, cat scratch, cat scratch!
Step 3: The person gets up quickly and you pull up the back of their shirt. Red claw marks will appear on the person’s bare back. They won’t feel a thing.

Little Devil

Little Devil is a scary game played by kids and teenagers in Russia. It involves using a needle and thread to contact a demon from hell and ask it questions. In Russian, it is known as “Chertik” which means “Little Devil” (ie: a demon). Warning: You should probably not play this game, especially if you are a Christian. Contacting a demon is very dangerous and if you are vulnerable it could lead to you becoming possessed.
To play the Little Devil game, you need a sheet of paper, a pen, a needle and some thread.
Step 1: Draw a perfect circle on a piece of paper. Draw a dot in the exact middle of the circle. Around this dot, you should draw the figure of a little devil, complete with horns, cloven hooves and a tail. The dot in the middle of the circle should be at the devil’s heart.
Step 2: Write “Yes” above the devil’s head and “No” below the devil’s feet. Write the letters of the alphabet from A to Z outside the circle, around the circumference. Write the numbers from 0 to 9 inside the circle, around the circumference. (See picture below).
Step 3: Place the paper on a flat surface, like the floor or a table. Light a candle and place it beside the paper.
Step 4: Tie the thread to the needle. All of the people present in the room should remove any religious icons, like crosses etc and all metal jewelry.
Step 5: Join hands and say out loud, “Forces of darkness, I urge you to help.”
Step 6: Heat the tip of the needle in the candle’s flame. Then, hold the end of the thread and dangle the needle over the sheet of paper so that the tip of the needle is touching the devil’s heart.
Step 7: Say out loud, “Chertik, Chertik, come! Chertik, Chertik, come!” Wait for a few moments, then ask, “Chertik, Chertik, are you here?” If the needle points to “Yes”, you may now ask the little devil questions.
When you ask a question, you should say, “Chertik, Chertik, (and ask the question)”. If you like, you could say it in English instead: “Little Devil, Little Devil, (and ask the question)”.

To end the game, join hands and say: “Chertik, Chertik, go away!” and burn the thread in the candle’s flame.
Keep in mind that you are communicating with one of the devil’s minions. He is evil and he may try to deceive you, mock you, trick you, make false promises, make false predictions, manipulate you and make you do things etc. So, be very skeptical of anything Chertik tells you.
NOTE: I suspect this may be the origin of the Charlie Charlie Pencil Game. When you are calling “Charlie, Charlie” it may actually be the demon “Chertik, Chertik” you are calling.

Sweet Tooth

Sweet Tooth is a scary game to play at sleepovers. It originated in Russia where it is popular with kids and teenagers and it is known as “Сладкоежка гномом” which means “Sweet Tooth Gnome”. This ritual involves summoning a gnome that will eat your chocolate.
Sweet Tooth
Step 1: Take the mirror and place it on the floor, directly underneath the light in the ceiling. The mirror should be facing up.
Step 2: Tie a long thread around the bar of chocolate and suspend it from the light above, so that it is hanging just over the mirror, but not touching it.
Step 3: Everyone sits in a circle around the mirror. Every person in the room must play the game. If someone doesn’t want to play, they have to leave the room until the game is over.
Step 4: One person holds out the scissors and prepares to cut the thread. Do not cut the thread yet, just get ready to do it.
Step 5: One person gets up to switch off the light. Then, they must quickly rejoin the circle.
Step 6: The person with the scissors cuts the thread. You will hear the chocolate bar fall onto the mirror. Everyone should chant: “Sweet Tooth, Sweet Tooth, please come” three times.
Step 7: Everyone must remain silent and wait. Soon, you will hear a rustling noise. It is the sound of the gnome unwrapping the chocolate bar. Wait until the rustling sound stops, then slowly count to ten.
Step 8: One person gets up and switches on the light again.
There are several things that may happen:
1. The gnome may eat the chocolate.
2. The gnome may leave teeth marks or bite marks in the chocolate.
3. The gnome may leave a present of more chocolate for you.
This ritual is very low risk, but you have to be careful to obey all the rules. If you don’t, the gnome could bite you or escape from the mirror into our world. If the gnome escapes, they say it will hide in your house and bite your toes while you sleep.
